Décoration installée après la mort de Gilles Demarteau au 3 Cloître de la rue Saint-Benoît (actuelle rue de Cluny) en 1777, puis dans un hôtel près de la Sorbonne, à l'hôtel Avenue Malakoff en 1890 et enfin à l'hôtel de Clermont-Tonnerre, 120 rue du Bac, en 1956.
