An Island in the Lagoon with a Gateway was painted by Canaletto (Giovanni Antonio Canal). The version of the artpiece measures the size - 20 1/8 x 27 in (51,1 x 68,6 cm) framed: 27 3/4 x 34 7/8 in (70,5 x 88,6 cm). Huile sur toile was used by the Italian painter as the medium of the masterpiece. It belongs to the art collection of Saint Louis Art Museum, which is a world renowned fine arts museum known for its outstanding and comprehensive collection spanning 5000 years of cultures and genres. We are glad to mention that the domaine public chef-d'œuvre est fourni avec l'aimable autorisation de Musée d'art de Saint Louis, Missouri, Friends Fund. The creditline of the artwork is the following: Friends Fund.
