Nous proposons une gamme de matériaux et de tailles variés pour chaque produit. Ainsi, nous vous permettons de choisir parmi les options suivantes:

  • Verre acrylique imprimé (avec revêtement en verre véritable): A glossy acrylic glass print, often named a UV print on plexiglass, makes your favorite artwork into stunning décor and is a good alternative to canvas and dibond fine art replicas. The work of art is manufactured with modern UV print technology. The major advantage of an acrylic glass print is that contrasts and painting details will be exposed because of the very subtle gradation of the picture.
  • Toile: The printed canvas, which should not be confused with a canvas painting, is a digital copy printed from a UV direct printer. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • Impression dibond en aluminium (métal): This is a metal print manufactured on aluminium dibond material with an impressive effect of depth. A non-reflective surface make a fashionable look. For the Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the favorite artpiece onto the aluminium composite white-primed surface. The white & bright components of the original artwork shimmer with a silky gloss, however without the glare. Colors are luminous and bright in the highest definition, details appear clear and crisp, and you can really perceive the matte appearance of the fine art print. This UV print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly stylish way to showcase fine art reproductions, as it draws attention on the image.
  • Poster (matériau en toile): La Artprinta poster is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a slightly rough surface finish, that reminds the actual work of art. The poster print is ideally suited for framing your fine art print in a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2 - 6cm around the painting, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.

Avertissement légal: We try the best we can in order to depict our art products as accurately as possible and to display them visually in our shop. Although, the pigments of the print materials, as well as the printing might diverge marginally from the image on your screen. Depending on the screen settings and the quality of the surface, colors can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because all fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there might as well be minor deviations in the motif's size and exact position.

The location of this landscape has been identified as Newport, Rhode Island. Whittredge may have first visited the area as early as 1859, immediately following his return to America. He visited it often and even built a summer house there. He became fascinated with the colonial architecture of the area, drawing and painting Bishop George Berkeley’s house, Whitehall. Whittredge’s first Newport painting dates from 1865, and in the early 1870s he began a series of Newport landscapes in which the focus was a shingled, gambrel-roofed farmhouse near the sea. In most of these landscapes, such as Home by the Sea, c. 1872 (Westmoreland County Museum of Art, Greensburg, Pennsylvania), and Old Homestead by the Sea, 1883 (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston), the artist assumed an elevated position away from the house to obtain an expansive view of the surrounding countryside and distant ocean. A Home by the Seaside is the only painting in this series in which Whittredge moved closer to the house, which serves as a framing device leading the viewer into the scene and down the hill to the field below where men are working. The image of hayers was a popular motif, frequently used by Whittredge and other artists of the period to convey the nationalistic pride of a country rich in natural resources and human energy. Although Whittredge explained his attraction to Newport as returning to the land of his forefathers, a land made familiar to him through tales heard as a child, his fascination was also part of a general cultural trend during the late nineteenth century called the colonial revival. The farmhouse in A Home by the Seaside has not been specifically identified, but its type and age added a note of native picturesqueness to the scene. Whittredge did not depict Newport as the fashionable summer resort of the elite but as the land he had heard about as a child. The soft autumnal haze contributes to the general sentiment of nostalgia. By the 1870s Whittredge had become known for his serene, sun-filled, open landscapes. When this painting was exhibited, such critics as George Sheldon praised its diffused light and quiet mood.
