Cook Strait, New Zealand was created by Nicholas Chevalier in the year 1884. The masterpiece was made with the absolute size: Image: 1832 mm (largeur), 912 mm (hauteur). Huile sur toile was used by the Swiss painter as the technique for the painting. This work of art can be viewed in in the art collection of Museum of New Zealand - Te Papa Tongarewa, which is the national museum of New Zealand, with a great collection of artworks that contain deep ancestral links to the indigenous Māori population of New Zealand.
