Pour chaque impression d'art, nous proposons différentes tailles et matériaux. Nous vous permettons de choisir parmi les variantes suivantes:
- Impression sur toile: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wood frame. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
- L'impression sur verre acrylique (avec revêtement en verre véritable sur le dessus): The print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a fine art print on plexiglass, changes your favorite original work of art into beautiful décor. Furthermore, it is a viable alternative to canvas or dibond fine art prints. The artwork is being made with the help of modern UV direct print technology. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts plus granular color details will be identifiable because of the granular tonal gradation in the print. Our real glass coating protects your selected art replica against light and heat for up to 60 years.
- Métal (impression dibond en aluminium): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an impressive effect of depth. A non-reflective surface make a contemporary look. For the Aluminium Dibond print, we print your favorite artpiece right onto the surface of the aluminum composite. The bright sections of the original artpiece shine with a silky gloss but without glare. The colors of the print are vivid and luminous in the highest definition, the details are crisp and clear, and you can feel the matte appearance of the print. The UV print on aluminium is one of the most popular entry-level products and is a truly sophisticated way to showcase fine art prints, because it draws focus on the whole artwork.
- Poster (matériau en toile): Our poster print is a UV printed sheet of flat canvas paper with a slight surface texture, which resembles the original version of the artwork. The poster is suited for placing your art copy in a custom frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm round about the print motif, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
Note légale importante: We try what we can in order to describe the products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually. Still, the colors of the printing material and the printing may diverge marginally from the presentation on your screen. Depending on your settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, not all colors will be printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. Given that our art reproductions are processed and printed manually, there might also be minor variations in the motif's exact position and the size.
General description as provided from The Metropolitan Museum of Art website (© - Le Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)
This was Delacroix’s first treatment of a subject drawn from Sir Walter Scott’s popular novels of medieval chivalry. The eponymous hero of Ivanhoe (1819), straining to leave his sickbed, listens to the terrified Rebecca as she describes a battle raging outside the window. Delacroix sought to stimulate the viewer’s imagination by evoking violence through the gestures of the characters reacting to it rather than showing the battle itself. The fastidious execution of Rebecca's extended hand stands in contrast to the jumble of strokes immediately surrounding it and to its left, which suggest the frenzy she witnesses.
