L'au-delà 430 year old original had the following size: height: 95,5 cm width: 71,5 cm | height: 37,6 in width: 28,1 in. Huile sur panneau was applied by the artist as the technique for the work of art. Nowadays, the work of art belongs to the art collection of Mauritshuis, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Also, the artpiece has the following creditline: By inheritance in the family of the sitter; gift of Coenraad Leemans on behalf of the heirs of F.W. de Virieu, 1879; on long-term loan to the Het Loo Palace, Apeldoorn (this loan proceeded via the Netherlands Institute for Cultural Heritage, until 2013).
