En vis-à-vis du décor de la salle des mariages de l'ancienne mairie du 8ème arrondissement (14 place des Vosges, actuel 4ème arrondissement).

Haut de porte (une séquence de quatre) exécuté en 1856 pour la salle des mariages de la mairie de l'ancien 8ème arrondissement (Place des Vosges, actuel 4ème arrondissement). L'hôtel de ville occupait l'ancien La Rivière, devenu bien national en 1793, jusqu'en 1867. C'est à cette date que le décor fut posé, lorsque l'édifice devint une dépendance de la synagogue de la construction de la rue des Tournelles. En 1878, le décor est daté du musée Carnavalet ; en 1949, le haut de porte fut supprimé, ainsi que tous les éléments décoratifs qui n'étaient pas du XVIIe siècle.
