What does the curator team of the The Metropolitan Museum of Art state about this work of art created by Titian? (© Copyright - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)

The Milanese Filippo Archinto was a remarkable Catholic cleric who attended the Council of Trent and zealously fought against heresy. Titian painted him when Archinto served as papal nuncio in Venice. Soon afterwards, he was confirmed as Archbishop of Milan, but intrigue worthy of the theater kept him from taking up his role and he died in exile. Titian’s portrayal of him is subtle, capturing the power of the sitter’s personality and intelligence, and suggesting the textures of his white gown and deep red mozzetto, or cape, with lively brushstrokes.

Quel type de supports d'impression puis-je sélectionner?

Pour chaque impression d'art, nous proposons différentes tailles et matériaux. Par conséquent, nous vous permettons de choisir parmi les options suivantes:

  • Affiche imprimée sur toile: A poster print is a printed sheet of canvas with a granular finish on the surface. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm round about the print in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Impression dibond en aluminium (métal): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with an outstanding effect of depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the best start to the sophisticated world of art prints on aluminum. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print the selected artwork onto the surface of the aluminum composite. The bright and white parts of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss but without the glare. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, the fine details of the print appear crisp and clear.
  • Verre acrylique imprimé (avec revêtement en verre véritable): An acrylic glass print, which is sometimes named as a UV print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original work of art into home décor. The artwork will be made with state-of-the-art UV direct print machines. The great benefit of a plexiglass fine art print is that sharp contrasts as well as details will be more identifiable because of the subtle tonal gradation. The real glass coating protects your custom art replica against light and heat for several decades.
  • Toile: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. A canvas has the particular effect of three dimensionality. Your canvas print of this artwork will give you the unique opportunity to turn your fine art print into a large size work of art. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
