Ce 17th siècle artpiece named "Orpheus Charming the Animals with his Music" was painted by the mâle artist Roelant Savery. The version of the painting has the size: height: 62 cm width: 131,5 cm | height: 24,4 in width: 51,8 in and was crafted with the technique huile sur panneau. Signed and dated: ROELANDT / SAVERY FE / 1627bears inscription: Ein stick von Serwie.N.18 was the masterpiece's original inscription. Today, the piece of art is included in the art collection of Mauritshuis. We are delighted to state that the public domain masterpiece is being supplied with courtesy of Mauritshuis, The Hague. In addition, the artpiece has the following creditline: Stadholder Frederik Hendrik, The Hague, 1632; Oranienstein Palace, Diez, 1775; by inheritance to Prince William V, The Hague, until 1795; confiscated by the French, transferred to the Muséum Central des Arts/Musée Napoléon (Musée du Louvre), Paris, 1795-1815; Royal Picture Gallery, housed in the Prince William V Gallery, The Hague, 1816; transferred to the Mauritshuis, 1822.
